The erstwhile godfather of grunge folk is bringing his own eccentric, offbeat collection of artwork to Arundel as part of the Arts Trail taking place from 22-31 August 2015.

 

Reflecting his lifelong, stubborn determination to be different, Willy transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, taking utilitarian multi-laminates and combining with broken instruments to produce artwork of surprising elegance and refinement.

 

The Les Dawson Thumb guitar, one of Willy’s latest creations pictured here, will be on display as part of his exhibition and will be fired up for the first time at the Otway Barrett gig on the Jubilee Gardens stage, 8-10pm on Wednesday 26th August.
